Community Development

  • The City of Gunnison is soliciting bids from qualified roofing contractos for the installation of a new membrane roof system on the City Municipal Building. Items to be included in the bid should be complete tear off and disposal of existing roofing material, new layers of insulation, underlayment, membrane, flashing, crane service, dumpster expenses, etc. Contact Eric Jansen at the City of Gunnison Building Office at 970.641.8151 for bid specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularties. The City will choose the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

Finance Department

  • REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The City of Gunnison is soliciting proposals for insurance brokerage services and underwriting of the health/dental/optical/life insurance plan for the 2011 plan year. Written proposals effective as of the City's insurance renewal date of January 1, 2011, must be received by August 31, 2010 at the Finance Office, City of Gunnison, 201 West Virginia Avenue, Gunnison, CO 81230. No late proposals will be accepted. Specifications may be obtained from the City Finance Office. Any questions should be directed to Kyndall Coffman at the above address, by mail at P.O. Box 239, Gunnison, CO 81230, or by telephone at 970-641-8248. The City of Gunnison reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion of any proposal. The City will accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
